Natalie Voogt
Natalie has always had a love for the Fine Arts. She began taking piano lessons at the age of 3 and became a church pianist at the age of 15, giving private lessons on the weekends. She sought out every opportunity to participate in local art, music, and theatre production in support of her passion. She graduated with a B.A. in Education and Music Performance, and M.Ed. in Educational Administration. Upon moving to Houston in 2004, she began teaching art and music on the elementary and secondary level, and quickly took charge of the artistic directions of school-wide productions and events. Her private studio students perform regularly and have received superior recognition in regional and international competitions and exams.
In 2018, Natalie was appointed the International Representative of the prestigious organization ABRSM . In addition, she volunteers at the Museum of Fine Arts as a docent educator, performs with the Houston Symphony Chorus, and is a member of various local and national teacher associations. She has experience teaching various academic and enrichment courses on all K-8 levels, and has developed interdisciplinary curricula for the private and public schools. She also holds a degree in Nonprofit Management from Rice University and was the director of Campbell Learning Center for over 12 years. She now keeps a robust studio of students from age 4 to adult, is an avid cook and fine art photographer.
